Easy, Cheap Doughnut Recipe with Canned Biscuits

This doughnut recipe is tasty and simple.

I crave them when the weather cools in the fall. Unfortunately, these are not my “healthy treat”!

A can of refrigerated biscuits, vegetable, maize, or canola oil for frying, and plain, cinnamon-flavored, or powdered sugar for topping are all you need.

Use your fingers to poke a hole in a biscuit, stretching it to produce a larger hole.

Drop the cookie into the heated oil carefully. Fry till bottom is brown, then flip and repeat.

After removing the doughnut, place it on a sugar platter.

Turn it over so the sugar coats both sides.
